Such a pleasure to be the opening keynote at Kinly‘s Sustainability in AV conference speaking on ‘AV, AI & the Future of Sustainability’. 🌎 ♻️ 🎤

Doing my research for this talk, I experienced all the feelings… But I really believe we have to lead from a place of optimism and confidence. Working together we can turn this thing around, and yesterday confirmed my hope that the #AVindustry can be powerful leaders in this transition to a green economy.

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA): This year global investment in clean technologies and infrastructure is expected to hit $2 trillion. With almost half of all enterprises pledging to prioritise their ESG goals, and more than half reporting that they struggle to find partners who can help them deliver on those goals – we are looking at a major opportunity.

With influence both up and down the supply chain, the #AV industry is uniquely positioned and qualified to make a far greater, more meaningful impact on the future of our planet than just our own internal net-zero goals. It was a pleasure to share my insights on where we’re headed from a technological POV, what that means for the environment, emerging opportunities and risks, as well as actions we can start taking today.

Had a great time speaking on ‘The Future of Gaming’ at Havas Entertainment‘s terrific GetGaming2024 event yesterday!

#AI, #XR, #blockchain, neuroscience and sensory technologies are converging to create – not only deeply immersive, culturally important, and ethically complex experiences – but also new economies, art forms, and communities that blur the lines between physical, digital, and virtual worlds.

Before my talk I got to hear some fascinating case studies from Ellie Moss and Tom Williams on the Power of Partnerships (Loved the Metallica whisky example!), and a great panel discussion led by Digiday featuring insights from Ashley Bolt, Laura Disney, Sara Rodríguez Ballester, TikTok, and Dickens Ngoma.
