Amelia Kallman is a leading London futurist, speaker, author, and host. She has spoken at 100+ conferences across 20+ countries, written industry-leading reports, regularly consults for Fortune 500 companies, and hosts conferences, events, and workshops for some of today’s top brands. Recently named one of the Top 20 World-Leading Futurists of 2024, as well as one of the Top 25 Women in the Metaverse, Amelia’s clients include: AT&T, Puma, Allianz, Unilever, Red Bull, Bending Spoons, Lloyd's, JLL, Samsung, and UK Parliament. She is a mentor and activist in the responsible tech movement, and is currently writing her third book.

Background

Originally from a theatrical background, Amelia started her tech career by chance in 2013 at a creative technology agency where she worked her way up to become their Global Head of Innovation. She's opened, operated and curated pop-up and permanent tech labs in London, Scotland and Dubai for clients including Accenture, PWC, KPMG, and EY.

Coming from a non-traditional technology background, she has a unique talent for making the complex accessible. Since going freelance in 2017 she has become an in-demand international speaker. As an independent futurist, clients often find her frank, unbiased and ethical assessments a refreshing contrast to speakers who endorse, market, and sell.

She has lectured at Cambridge University and UC Berkeley, written a multi-award winning book, exhibited art internationally, and directed the first burlesque show in 360° video. Since the popularity of her TEDx Talk in 2022 asking ‘Is the Metaverse Bad for the Environment?’, Amelia has been studying the footprint of generative AI, as well as the impact of artificial intelligence on equality.
