What excites me most about being a judge at this year’s Women Leaders in Electronics Awards is getting to recognise and celebrate the years of hard work, training, dedication, and resilience of remarkable women in technology; women who make an impact, who take risks, and haven’t given up. You deserve to be celebrated!  🎉 🏆 🥇

As someone who has done a lot of judging, here’s some practical advice to make your entry standout:

📍Make a clear, concise argument for why you should win at the top of your entry
📍Back it by data and evidence of personal and professional growth
📍Storytell
📍Human language wins over technical jargon
📍Don’t assume the judges are familiar with acronyms specific to your industry
📍Don’t worry about sounding boastful—this is your moment to shine!

I always say, “Be the change you want to see.” Because you do it, another woman will know that she can do it, too. Your leadership matters.
