Nina Salomons is a filmmaker, diversity advocate and XR consultant. But most importantly, she is a storyteller. Her films have been screened at film festival, won awards and her documentary ‘In State of Transit’ is still being used by the U.N. to help refugees today. She founded the Women in VR meetup group in London in 2016 and has worked in making the immersive space more inclusive by leading the VR and XR Diversity Initiative since 2018. She is currently working on bringing VR into prisons for well-being, and is still working on implementing this. During the pandemic she co-founded AnomieXR ltd. is a client-led VR therapy and coaching software solution aimed at therapists and coaches. It helps their clients express feelings with customisable tools in a safe virtual space of their own making.
