Great to speak this morning at The Drum on the future of work. Check out my interview in the August issue!
A lot of hard work goes into making The Drum magazine and, as such, we think each and every new issue should be shouted about and celebrated.
So before the new magazine lands on anyone’s desk – before it’s even off the presses in fact – we’d like to invite you for a sneak peak. You’ll also be the first to hear about The Drum’s exciting plans from our chief exec.
This month our panel will be discussing the future of work, we’ll be considering what the agency of the future looks like, what the marketer of the future looks like, and – if robots really are set to take over so many of our jobs – what the future of unemployment looks like.
At the off stone you not only get a preview of the mag, but you can hear from industry experts and get in-depth discussions on hot topics. Stick around after to meet the panellists and get inspired!
Joining us on this month's panel will be:
Stuart Templeton Head of Slack UK, Slack
Amelia Torode Founder, The Fawnbrake Collective
Richard Norton Executive Creative Director, Indicia/Konica Minolta
Amelia Kallman Author & Futurist
Helen Tupper Commercial Marketing Director, Microsoft
So drop by our offices on 17th July and join us, our writers, our contributors, our interviewees and all of us at The Drum for a laid-back morning discussing the new issue, sharing ideas and networking.

The PACK! HUGE thanks to everyone who came out last Thursday to be a part of the change. In London women earn 14.6% less than male colleagues, the biggest pay gap in the UK, & it's only come down .5% in the last 20 years! The biggest danger here is Silence. Progress doesn't happen without inclusion. In an alliance between genders and seeing this as a Human issue, not just a male-female one, lies power, possibility, and hope. We can't rely on govt. & hierarchies to take the reigns on these issues. CHANGE HAPPENS BECAUSE PEOPLE MAKE IT HAPPEN, and we are all the people. #PACK pledges to provide a safe, inclusive forum for these important conversations to happen within our community, so we can learn, support, and enhance our language & communication skills around these issues to bring back into our workplaces, industries, and homes, so in 20 years time our children, nieces and nephews aren't sat here with a gender pay gap that's only come down by half a percentage!
